22-8-’20: Jonge duiven vanuit Quievrain

Nadat we vorige week niet zo’n geweldige vlucht hadden, hebben we in totaal wel 41 duiven retour gekregen van die vlucht. We hebben er voor Quievrain (ruim 297km) 35 jonge duiven ingekorfd.

De wind was vandaag sterk, gelukkig wel wind achter, maar de kans op het voorbij vliegen was uiteraard aanwezig.
De eerste jonge duif was de 20-1140863. Deze duif heeft van de 4 vluchten dat hij nu is mee geweest, 2x prijs gewonnen tot nu toe.
Vader is een zoon van ‘Pierre’ (eigen kweek, goede vlieger) x ‘Jonge Amerikaan’ Hans Boenders en een 100% van W.A. de Bruijn.
De tweede jonge duif was de 20-1140874. Van vaderskant uit eigen kweek, terug te herleiden naar ‘Delanie en ‘Danie’ en van moederskant is het een Atema x ‘452’.

We beginnen om 10.24u met draaien, het was bij ons al bekend dat een medeliefhebber in de vereniging op dat moment al meerdere duiven binnen had. Oei, we zijn niet op tijd. Onze duiven kwamen vandaag met weinig drukte naar huis, hebben toch meer geleden onder de ‘slechte’ vlucht van vorige week.
Op dit moment hebben we 33 v.d. 35 duiven in huis. De laatste 2 zullen zich ongetwijfeld de komende 24 uur gaan melden.

In de vereniging het Zuiden hadden we een 20e, 27e, 29e, 30e, etc. tegen 263 duiven. 35/7 in de prijzen.
In CC3 hadden we een 40e, 67e, 69e, 73e, etc. tegen 2002 duiven. 35/10 in de prijzen.

Voor de echte kopprijzen zullen onze jonge duiven een stuk sneller naar huis moeten komen. Voor volgende week wacht ons voor de eerste keer 2 dagen mand, we zullen dan ook deze week wederom oefenen met drinken.
Dan vliegen de jonge duiven vanuit Dizy-le-Gros, dit is voor ons ruim 355km.
Voor nu rest ons om onze jonge garde weer fitter aan de start te laten verschijnen.
